This notice describes how the academy currently works. It will be updated when enrolment opens.

The academy website

Browsing the catalogue and course pages does not need an account. The academy website sets no cookies of its own and uses no advertising or analytics trackers.

Signing in to a course

Course sign-in is provided by Cloudflare Access. It uses your email address to send a one-time code and to check that you're enrolled in that course. Cloudflare sets a sign-in cookie for this purpose.

Your progress

Depending on the course, your progress is saved either in your own browser on your device or in the course's database, linked to a coded form of your email address so it can follow you across devices. Each course page says which.

Enrolment and payment

When enrolment opens, it will be handled by our learning platform, which processes your name, email address and payment under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of your enrolment so we can give you access to the course. We never see your full card details.
